The handle carries two cold shoes, one on top and one at the back, so you can mount light accessories such as a microphone or a magic arm. Its hole pattern matches ARRI locating pins, so ARRI-compatible extension blocks fit as well. The 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads take further accessories, and the 1/4" spanner is always at hand in the handle itself.
