Product description

The Blackmagic battery grip Pocket Camera Battery Grip for Pocket Cinema Camera 4K cameras replaces the standard LP-E6 battery with a pair of L-series batteries (Sony L-Series), so you can shoot for over two hours on a single charge. Once fitted, the grip becomes part of the camera body, extends shooting time and improves handheld shooting.

Longer shooting and a firmer hold on the camera

The grip attaches in place of the LP-E6 battery door and becomes part of the camera body; the batteries can be charged in the camera through the 12 V power input.

Part of the camera, not an add-on to the rig

Unlike external batteries that attach to the side of a camera rig, the grip becomes part of the camera body once installed.

Two batteries in a slide-out drawer

The slide-out drawer holds two L-series batteries, for example the original Blackmagic NP-F570. The batteries can be charged directly in the camera through the 12 V DC power input.

Handle with a non-slip surface

The battery grip also has a non-slip handle surface that improves ergonomics for handheld shooting. Besides longer shooting, it can also power additional accessories.

Installation

After you remove the LP-E6 battery door, the grip attaches easily to the camera body. A storage compartment in the grip holds the door of the original LP-E6 battery.
