That's why it is bringing new PBR patchbays to market - interconnect panels for use in the studio as well as in theaters and other professional sound installations.
Each PBR patchbay uses high-quality metal connectors with gold-plated contacts. This ensures highly reliable interconnection of your equipment. The black anodized aluminum front panel and metal body gives the PBR series patchbays a sleek sophisticated look and, together with the robust connectors, ensures mechanical durability and long life.
PBR TRS
is a patchbay designed to connect devices and cabling using TRS 6.3 mm (large symmetrical jack) connectors. High quality symmetrical patch cables or standard symmetrical TRS cables can be used for interconnection. The patch panel is designed in a 19" 1U format.
front panel
The TRS patchbay has 48 TRS 6.3 mm connectors on the front panel in two rows A and B (2x24) labeled 1 - 24. For clarity, they are graphically grouped in groups of six with a field for description. The aluminium front panel is fitted with side brackets for installation in a 19" rack.
rear panel
Also on the rear panel are 48 TRS 6.3 mm connectors in two rows A and B, which correspond to the connectors on the front panel. A switch allows you to set the Full-Normal or Half-Normal mode for each pair of A-B connectors.*
features:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Connector connection modes:
In most cases, it is useful to use the upper A row for outputs and the lower B row for inputs.
Full-Normal mode
the rear A-B connectors are connected - the output is connected to the corresponding input.
Front panel: If a cable is inserted into either connector, the connection is broken.
Itis ideal for e.g. connecting a paired cable to the inputs of a mixing console.
Half-Normal mode
the rear connectors A-B are connected - the output is connected to the corresponding input.
Front panel: When the cable is plugged into the top connector A the connection remains, when the cable is plugged into the bottom connector B the connection is broken.
It is suitable for branching the signal to multiple inputs - the output of an effects processor to mix and listen, bringing the Aux bus to multiple headphone distributors, etc.
