Atomos Shinobi II

The Atomos Shinobi II is a compact 5.2-inch HDMI HDR monitor designed for vloggers, photographers, and filmmakers who want to more reliably assess sharpness, exposure, and composition while shooting. The Full HD touchscreen with 1,500 nits of brightness remains readable even outdoors and supports signals up to UHD/DCI 4Kp30, HDR HLG/PQ, and Log preview with AtomHDR. AtomOS 11 offers waveform, zebra, histogram, Atomos/ARRI/EL Zone false color, focus peaking, zoom, anamorphic desqueeze, frame guides, and the ability to save up to eight custom 3D LUTs. Via USB-C, you can adjust white balance, aperture, ISO, and shutter speed on supported Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Z CAM cameras, monitor camera status, and use touch-to-focus or the shutter release. The monitor is powered by a single NP-F/L-Series battery, USB-C PD, or an optional Battery Eliminator; the USB-C port can also deliver up to 13 W to a compatible camera. Thanks to its light weight of 210 g, a 1/4″-20 thread with anti-rotation points, and a locking HDMI/USB-C adapter, it integrates easily into a lightweight rig.

AtomOS 11 puts waveform, histogram, vectorscope, zebras, false colour and frame guides on the touchscreen. USB-C control supports white balance, aperture, shutter and ISO on compatible Canon, Panasonic and Sony cameras; Z CAM E2 support uses an optional LANC cable. A red screen edge clearly indicates internal recording.

From Log to the final frame

The 10-bit HDR/SDR display handles HLG, PQ and Log material with 10+ stops of dynamic range. Store up to eight custom 3D LUTs, use anamorphic desqueeze and frame for cinema or social delivery. Calibrate Shinobi II with a Calibrite probe or Atomos Calibrator for dependable colour.

Made for the rig and the whole day

The slim body weighs only 210 g and uses one Sony NP-F/L-Series battery. It can also run from USB-C PD and supply power to a compatible camera over USB-C. The included adapter secures HDMI and USB-C cables while retaining compatibility with standard non-locking cables.
