Featuring ZEISS's exclusive T* blue coating, a fast T1.5 aperture, full-frame coverage, and support for ZEISS eXtended Data and Cooke /i Technology, this professional cine lens is ideal for feature films, commercials, virtual production, and high-end cinematography workflows.
The ZEISS Supreme Prime Radiance 50mm T1.5 is a professional large-format cinema lens that combines the renowned optical performance of the Supreme Prime series with uniquely controlled flare characteristics. Utilizing ZEISS's specially developed T* blue coating, the lens allows cinematographers to create artistic blue flares and enhanced visual character without sacrificing contrast, sharpness, or color accuracy.
Designed to cover full-frame and large-format image sensors with a generous 46.3mm image circle, the lens delivers outstanding image quality across the frame. Its fast T1.5 aperture enables exceptional low-light performance while providing shallow depth of field and smooth subject separation. The 16-blade circular iris creates pleasing, natural bokeh and smooth focus transitions, helping filmmakers achieve a cinematic look with rich texture and depth.
The Supreme Prime Radiance series maintains the precise mechanics and build quality expected from ZEISS cinema lenses. Each lens is individually assembled and calibrated in Germany, featuring a long 300° focus rotation for precise focus pulling and repeatable operation. The interchangeable mount system provides flexibility across professional camera platforms, while integrated ZEISS eXtended Data and Cooke /i Technology deliver frame-accurate lens metadata for VFX, virtual production, and advanced post-production workflows.
Slightly warmer in character than standard Supreme Prime lenses, the Radiance 50mm offers a distinctive cinematic signature while preserving the sharpness, detail, and consistency demanded by modern productions.
