EF‑FX2 combines electronic control with built-in optics that shorten effective focal length and increase effective brightness by approximately one stop.
Wider view
The 0.71× factor reduces the APS‑C crop effect.
AF and aperture
Electronic contacts transmit focusing, aperture and EXIF depending on compatibility.
USB updates
Firmware can be updated for additional lens and camera combinations.
Optical Speed Booster
The reducer concentrates the Canon EF lens image circle onto a FUJIFILM X sensor.
Tripod thread
The bottom 1/4-inch thread supports the assembly on a tripod, cage or rig component.
