The 16mm focal length captures large spaces without forcing you to step back. Combined with an F1.8 aperture, it is a strong fit for night landscapes, astro, architecture, vlogging and dynamic handheld video.

Sharp rendering and coma control

The 15-element, 12-group optical design with four ED and three aspherical elements is built for high resolution, low chromatic aberration and cleaner point-light rendering in astrophotography.

Fast STM autofocus for stills and video

Quiet internal focusing keeps operation smooth during shooting and filming. The lens supports AF/MF, keeps focus breathing low and fits naturally into a video workflow.

Direct controls on the lens

The aperture ring can switch between clicked and clickless operation, serving both photographers and filmmakers. AF/MF and programmable buttons keep important functions close to hand.

Status LCD and practical construction

The integrated display shows lens settings. The non-bulb front element accepts standard 77mm filters, while the sealed metal body and USB-C port support long-term field use.
