A wide-angle, high-luminosity lens for Canon EF-M mirrorless cameras (optimised for APS-C cameras), it features a high-end construction (10 elements in 9 groups, 9 lens hood) including 1 ED and 1 HR lens, as well as HD Nano coatings for chromatic aberration suppression, excellent contrast and colour reproduction and glare minimisation. This compact (65x72mm, 270g) lens also features a very quiet STM stepper motor autofocus for precise autofocusing with minimal vibration (incl. Eye AF support); switching to MF mode is standard. An integrated micro USB port allows future firmware updates. Comes with sun hood. The angle of view is 45.7°, min. focusing distance is 0.4 m, max. magnification 0.1, filter size 52 mm. Variant for Canon EF-M Mount (also available for Z, E and X bayonets).

Natural standard prime for APS-C
On APS-C, 33mm delivers a field of view close to 50mm equivalent. It suits everyday photography, environmental portraits, street work and details, while F1.4 provides shallow depth of field.

Natural angle
The view feels neither excessively wide nor compressed, retaining natural proportions in faces and surroundings.

Nine aperture blades
The large aperture directs attention to the subject and enables faster shutter speeds in lower light.

From 0.4m
A 0.4m minimum focus distance expands its use to small objects, food and visual details.

10 elements / 9 groups
An ED and a high-refractive-index element help control colour fringing, distortion and loss of definition.

Upgradeable
Manufacturer updates can further optimise compatibility and autofocus behaviour.
