VAXIS VFX 95mm Magnetic Standard ND Filter Kit

The VAXIS VFX 95 mm Standard ND kit contains IRND 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 filters and a 95 mm magnetic ring for quick mounting, swapping and stacking. The filters fit the Tilta Mirage matte box and each comes in its own Alcantara pouch.

The IRND 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 filters cut light by 1 to 4 EV with accurate colour rendering. K95 optical glass with a double-sided 12-layer coating filters 99.8% of IR and UV and keeps full sharpness. The 95 mm filters slide into the Tilta Mirage matte box; with the magnetic ring and a VFX lens adapter (67, 72, 77 or 82 mm) they also mount straight in front of the lens.

Manufacturer warranty

Limited: 10 years on filters, 1 year on the magnetic ring.

Threaded lock. A magnetic thread gasket holds the filter in the ring, and the whole unit then snaps onto the magnetic lens adapter.

Strong magnets. The magnetic parts hold firmly and reliably, yet the filter comes off in one move.

Stacking filters. VFX rings stack magnetically, so combining several filters is easy.

Comparison: IRND and Pure Mist. The IRND filter tones down the scene, and adding Pure Mist softens the highlights.

Installation. Screw the adapter onto the lens, place the filter in the ring and lock it, then attach the ring to the adapter magnetically.

Standard ND kit. IRND 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 filters with a 95 mm magnetic ring; for 67–82 mm lens threads add a lens adapter.
