VAXIS VFX 95mm Magnetic ND Filter Kit For Outdoor

The VAXIS VFX 95 mm outdoor kit contains IRND 0.6, 1.2 and 2.1 filters (2, 4 and 7 stops), a polarizing filter, a 95 mm magnetic ring and a 67, 72, 77 or 82 mm lens adapter. The filters also fit the Tilta Mirage matte box.

Three IRND filters cut 2, 4 and 7 stops so you can shoot wide open even in harsh sun, while the polarizer suppresses reflections on water and glass and boosts colour saturation. K95 optical glass with a double-sided 12-layer coating blocks 99.8% of IR and UV without any loss of sharpness. Drop the 95 mm filters into a Tilta Mirage matte box, or use the magnetic ring and adapter to attach them straight to the lens.

Strength to suit the light

IRND 0.6 tames ordinary daylight, 1.2 helps with motion blur and the 7-stop 2.1 handles midday sun or long exposures.

ND and polarizer together

The magnetic rings stack on each other, so you simply add the polarizer to an ND filter and kill the reflections.

An adapter for your lens

The kit includes a magnetic lens adapter for a 67, 72, 77 or 82 mm thread – your choice.

Cinematic exposure in the sun

Outdoors there is often far too much light. IRND filters cutting up to 7 stops keep your aperture open and shutter cinematic, and the polarizer brings saturation back to skies and foliage.

Light filters

Each filter weighs only about 28 g.

Threaded lock

The filter sits securely in the ring and strong magnets hold it on the adapter.

Threaded lock. A magnetic thread gasket holds the filter in the ring, and the whole unit then snaps onto the magnetic lens adapter.

Strong magnets. The magnetic parts hold firmly and reliably, yet the filter comes off in one move.

Stacking filters. VFX rings stack magnetically, so combining several filters is easy.

Comparison: polarizing filter. The 95 mm polarizer suppresses reflections on glass and deepens colours.

Installation. Screw the adapter onto the lens, place the filter in the ring and lock it, then attach the ring to the adapter magnetically.
