The VariZoom Zero Gravity™ Pan & Tilt Head (VZZG) introduces a unique approach to camera balance and movement by allowing the operator to precisely align the camera’s center of gravity with the head’s tilt axis. Once balanced, the camera can be tilted freely to any position and left there without tightening drag controls, eliminating the common problems of nose dives or constant drag adjustments.

This fully fluid design delivers unmatched freedom of movement—simply point and shoot. The VZZG allows for extreme tilt angles, full 360-degree rotation, and even underslung operation on jibs, making it one of the most versatile manual pan and tilt heads available. Compatible with 100mm and 75mm bowl tripods, as well as flat-base tripods (with flat-base option), the Zero Gravity™ head supports cameras up to 15 lbs, making it ideal for ENG, documentary, studio, and jib applications. An optional VZ-ZGQRP quick-release plate is available to speed up mounting and simplify horizontal balancing.
