The VariZoom VZCINERIG is a highly versatile, modular shoulder support system designed for DSLRs and compact HD cameras, delivering exceptional stability, balance and freedom of movement for cinematic handheld shooting.

The VariZoom CineRig is engineered to provide the most stable shoulder-mounted platform available for DSLRs and compact HD cameras. Its unique dual counterbalanced shoulder mount design creates superior coupling to the operator’s shoulder region, minimizing unwanted camera movement and allowing shooters to focus entirely on framing and focus without the instability often caused by directly handling small cameras.

Built for flexibility, the CineRig can quickly convert into multiple configurations, including the CineGrip dual freehand stabilizing rig, a lightweight StingShot brace, or numerous other setups with the addition of compatible Riglits. It can also be upgraded into a fully supported system using VariZoom’s suspension pod and belt system, or broken down into simpler rigs for fast-paced, improvised shooting.

The CineRig’s counterbalance system is extremely adaptable—weights can be removed or increased to match your camera setup. The system accepts standard 1″ center barbell weights, allowing inexpensive and easily sourced balancing options. With additional rods and a camera plate, the CineRig can even be split into two separate support systems, making it one of the most configurable camera rigs available.
