Ulanzi ZJ08 Mic Boom Pole Arm

The Ulanzi ZJ08 is a three-section microphone boom with a length ranging from 43 to 100 cm, featuring a pair of joints adjustable within a 180° range and an integrated 3.5 mm coiled cable. Mounting via a cold shoe allows for precise positioning of the directional microphone above the camera rig without any loose cables hanging down.

A directional microphone exactly where you need it

The ZJ08 extends the microphone beyond the camera’s axis, making it easier to get closer to the sound source. The three telescoping sections extend up to 1 meter, and the twist locks hold the selected length in place.

Two joints with a 180° range

Both the lower and upper joints can be tilted within a 180° range, allowing the arm to easily go around a monitor, light, or other part of the rig. Both the base and the upper mount use a standard cold shoe.

Integrated cable and lightweight design

A coiled 3.5mm cable runs through the interior of the arm and exits at the bottom, simplifying connection and reducing cable snags. The aluminum arm weighs 210 g and can support a microphone setup weighing up to 1 kg.
