The Ulanzi VM02 is a small wireless monitor that displays the image from your phone’s rear camera —so you can take selfies and record vlogs with a higher-quality lens while still seeing yourself. It snaps onto your phone magnetically (MagSafe) in a second, transmits via 5 GHz Wi-Fi with no noticeable lag, and lets you focus remotely using the rotary dial. The display measures 2.0" with a resolution of 480 × 640; the 1000 mAh battery lasts about 2.5 hours, and the entire device weighs 88 g.

Record with the rear camera and see yourself

A phone’s front camera is always the worse one. The VM02 mirrors the image from the rear camera onto its display, so you control the composition while shooting with the better lens.

Focus with the dial, even from a distance

Turn the dial to fine-tune focus and zoom, even when you are several metres from the phone. Turning clockwise zooms in; counterclockwise zooms out. *On iOS you need to enable Zoom in Settings → Accessibility for remote focusing.

MagSafe magnetic mount

The monitor snaps onto your phone in a second. It holds directly on MagSafe phones; for other phones use the magnetic adapter ring from the box.

1000 mAh battery for 2.5 hours

The 3.7 V / 1000 mAh (3.7 Wh) polymer battery lasts about 2.5 hours of continuous screen mirroring. It charges via USB-C (5 V / 2 A).

Brightness, mirroring and aspect ratio with one tap

Switch brightness, image mirroring and aspect ratio right on the monitor so your shot is always correctly oriented and framed.

UV-coated finish

The surface has a scratch-resistant UV coating and the monitor fits in the palm of your hand – 72 × 68 × 12 mm, 88 g.
