Ulanzi VL81 Bi-Color LED Video Light 3200–5600 K

The Ulanzi VL81 is a pocket-sized bi-color panel with 80 LEDs that illuminates your face during vlogging, video calls, and product photography. You can smoothly adjust the color temperature from 3200 to 5600 K and the brightness from zero to full power—both using two dials on the back, without a menu. The built-in 3000 mAh battery charges via USB-C, and thanks to three mounting rails on the top and side edges, you can stack the light to create a larger light source or mount a microphone on it.

Cold shoes for a mic or a second light

There are cold shoes on the top and both side edges. Add another VL81 when one is not enough, or a microphone, or a wireless set receiver.

Daylight and warm light without filters

41 cool and 40 warm LEDs blend smoothly from 3200 K to 5600 K. Under tungsten lighting indoors, warm the light up; outdoors, match it to daylight, with no conversion gels.

True colour, CRI 95+

Skin tones stay natural and the colours of clothing and products match without grading corrections. Luminous flux reaches 850 lm, illuminance up to 900 lx and the 120° angle gives soft, even coverage.

Two dials, no menu

Two controls on the back: one for brightness, one for colour temperature. No menus and no app, just two dials within reach.

On a camera or a tripod

The bottom foot has a 1/4"-20 thread, so the light sits directly on a camera, tripod or ball head.
