The Ulanzi Uka C007 quick-release system comprises a 85 × 60 mm dovetail plate and 15 mm base, both CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with hard-anodized black finish (Type III, 50 µm thickness, IP66 dust/water resistance), supporting a 20 kg dynamic payload (tested at 2 m/s² acceleration) and 25 kg static load via a 45° angled insertion mechanism that engages a stainless-steel spring latch (AISI 316, 50 N retention force) in under 0.8 s. The dovetail profile adheres to full Arca-Swiss (39 mm width, 10 mm depth) and F38/Uka standards, allowing multi-angle slides (0–90°) without play (<0.05 mm tolerance), secured by dual 3 mm stainless pins (shear strength 150 kg) and a 1/4-turn M4 knob (2 Nm torque). Threading includes 11× 1/4"-20 UNC (M6 equivalent) and 4× 3/8"-16 UNC holes, plus 4× 3 mm ARRI locating pins for precise alignment with Manfrotto, DJI RS, SmallRig, or Peak Design accessories. Four integrated 6 mm corner loops (nylon-reinforced) accommodate safety tethers (up to 100 kg breaking strength).
