The Ulanzi MT-57 is an aluminum telescoping pole that extends from 21.5 to 81 cm and weighs just 130 g —roughly the same as the action camera itself. When shooting panoramic video, it doesn’t appear in the frame, creating the impression of a handheld shot without a mount. The 1/4" thread fits both panoramic and action cameras, as well as a phone with a mount. Strong damping between the sections keeps the pole stable and minimizes shaking.

When extended, the pole raises the camera 81 cm above your hand—for over-the-shoulder, overhead, or high-angle shots where you would otherwise need a tripod.

When shooting 360° video, the pole doesn’t appear in the frame. It creates the impression that the camera is flying on its own—an effect that’s the foundation of most panoramic shots.

The 1/4" thread can support panoramic cameras, action cameras, and even a phone with a mount. You don’t need to buy a separate adapter for each brand.

The pole weighs about as much as a single action camera. It’s comfortable to hold all day long, and when folded down to 21.5 cm, it fits in a jacket pocket. The shock absorption between the sections reduces swaying while walking.
*The longer version of the MT-58 (29.5–121 cm) is a separate product.
