Ulanzi F8 Flash and LED Light

The Ulanzi F8 combines a pop-up flash with guide number 8 and a 4 W continuous LED light in one body. The flash recycles in 2 s and delivers over 3,000 full-power flashes per charge, while the light offers 2500–6500 K and CRI 95. It mounts on a universal hot shoe, comes with six colour filters, and its 1200 mAh battery charges via USB-C.

Pop up the flash and shoot

In low light, one press pops up the flash. It has guide number 8 (ISO 100) and a colour temperature of 6800 K ±5% at full power. A 1 W assist light at 5600 K helps with focusing.

Fast recycle and over 3,000 flashes

At full power the flash recycles in about 2 s, at 1/2 in 1 s, at 1/4 in 0.7 s and at 1/8 in 0.5 s; at 1/16 it fires continuously. One charge gives about 3,360 full-power flashes.

Six colour filters

Six colour filters are included. Put them on the flash to give your shots a colour cast, from a warm tone to bold accents.

Continuous light for video

Hold the M button to switch to the continuous light modes. The 4 W light has a CRI of 95 or higher, 2500–6500 K and delivers 350 lx at 0.5 m at 6500 K. It runs about an hour at full brightness and about two hours at half.

Universal hot shoe

The single-contact hot shoe fits most digital cameras; turn it to the right to lock. Two extra cold shoes on the body take a microphone or another light.

1200 mAh battery with USB-C

The built-in 1200 mAh (3.7 V, 4.44 Wh) battery charges via USB-C (5 V / 1 A) in about 1.5 hours. On the go, a power bank works too.
