The G6 Instant records 4K video with a 109.9° field of view, listens and talks thanks to two-way audio and connects to the network over WiFi. It stands 82 mm tall and weighs 180 g.

Two-way audio

A microphone and speaker in the camera body let you hear what is happening and talk to visitors. Live view, recordings and alerts are managed in UniFi Protect.

Multi-TOPS AI engine

A powerful processor inside the camera handles face recognition and licence plate recognition and tells people, vehicles and animals apart. UniFi Protect alerts you only to what matters, and you can quickly find a specific event in the recordings.

Night vision up to 6 metres

An integrated IR LED with an automatic IR-cut filter switches the camera to night mode on its own as the light fades. The image stays sharp in low light or complete darkness, with no user intervention. A light sensor on the front takes care of the switching.

UniFi WiFi Auto-Link

One click connects the camera to a nearby UniFi WiFi network, so setup takes moments. It can also join a third-party WiFi network, entered during setup in the UniFi Protect mobile app. The camera supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac WiFi and Bluetooth.

Wall mounting in minutes

A wall mount is included and the camera simply screws onto it. The polycarbonate enclosure is rated IPX5 for weatherproofing and IK04 for tamper resistance, so it works indoors or under cover outdoors. It operates from −20 to 40 °C.

USB-C power and microSD slot

Behind the rear cover are the USB-C power input, a microSD card slot and the reset button. The camera runs on the included 5 V / 2 A USB power adapter and 2 m USB-C cable, or from a PoE switch with the optional PoE to USB-C adapter. It draws 7 W at most.
