True 1:1 macro without extension tubes
A 0.17m minimum focusing distance and the long, smooth focus-ring travel help place the focus plane precisely. The lens suits insects, plants, product details, textures and digitising small originals.
Refined optics and smooth bokeh
The 8-element, 7-group optical design includes two ultra-low-dispersion elements. Eleven aperture blades support smooth out-of-focus rendering, while the F2.8–F16 range provides control over depth of field.
