A fast 35 mm lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras. On an APS-C sensor it is equivalent to about 52.5 mm on full frame and covers a 45° angle of view.

The optical design of 10 elements in 7 groups is made for APS-C. The F1.8 to F16 aperture is formed by 9 blades, so wide open you can separate the subject from a blurred background.

Autofocus with an STM motor

Focusing is driven by an STM motor and the lens focuses from 0.4 m. Autofocus works for both stills and video recording.

The lens weighs 176–193 g, so it hardly weighs the camera down. The 52 mm front filter thread takes common screw-in filters such as UV, polarizing or variable ND filters.
