Tilta × Fe Pants XXL - Dark Purple

The Tilta × Fe pants in size XXL and colour Dark Purple are one pair for the whole day: for work, an outdoor shoot and the evening. The crinkle-texture nylon and polyester fabric has UPF 50+ UV protection (UVA ≥ 99 %), the BexAir ventilation system carries heat and moisture away and the surface repels dust and stains. The adjustable cuffs switch between straight, tapered and wide leg.

One pair of pants for everything

Work demands formality, going out demands sun protection, relaxing demands comfort — and with summer pants you usually give up one of the three. The Tilta × Fe pants combine all of them: a clean cut that holds up in the office, UV protection for a full day of shooting and a light, breathable fabric that is comfortable sitting and walking. A webbing belt with a buckle is sewn into the waist, so no separate belt is needed; there are pockets at the sides.

UPF 50+ UV protection

The fabric blocks ≥ 99 % of UVA radiation and is rated UPF 50+, the highest protection class for textiles. During a long outdoor shoot, a commute or a day trip the skin under the pants does not get the dose that causes tanning and premature ageing. The protection is a property of the fabric, its effectiveness does not change over time and it works all day without you having to think about it.

BexAir ventilation system

The cut is divided into panels and complemented by mesh ventilation openings, so air keeps moving between the fabric and the body. Heat and moisture are carried away as soon as they build up, the pants never feel stuffy and stay comfortable on a hot day even after hours on set. The BexAir system is shared with the windbreaker of the same range, so the whole set behaves the same way.

Straight, tapered or wide leg

The cuffs are adjustable: by tightening or loosening them you switch the silhouette from straight to tapered or wide, depending on what you are doing. The tapered leg stays out of the way walking on rough ground and does not flap around the ankles, the straight leg looks formal for work and the wide leg gives the most freedom in the evening. One pair of pants replaces three.

Crinkle-texture fabric that does not wrinkle

The nylon and polyester fabric has a naturally crinkled surface and is soft and light against the skin. No creases remain after a long time sitting in a car or at the edit desk, and pants scrunched up in a bag return to shape once worn. They look sharp without ironing — and a functional textile is not meant to be ironed anyway, see care below.

Dust- and stain-resistant

The surface of the fabric repels dust and light dirt: everyday dust from the set or the road does not settle in it and small stains do not cling. The pants therefore need washing less often, which spares the fabric and its functional finish, and they suit frequent, everyday wear — on a shoot, in town and while travelling.

Caring for the functional textile

The pants are made of a functional textile; extended wear, stretching or moisture gradually reduce its performance — so they are cared for according to the symbols on the label: machine wash at max. 30 °C, do not bleach, hang to dry, do not iron, do not dry clean. There is a pocket at the back and side pockets at the front; the waist is held by the sewn-in webbing belt with a buckle.

The Tilta × Fe range was made with the studio FeDesign for people who spend their shooting days outdoors: a windbreaker and pants in the same crinkle-texture fabric with UPF 50+ UV protection, the BexAir ventilation system and a dust- and stain-resistant surface. The pieces go together — the windbreaker and pants share the colours Dark Purple, Gray and Olive Green, so a complete set can be put together (the windbreaker also comes in Blue).
