Tilta USB-C Run/Stop Cable for USB-C Port

The Tilta RS-USBC-USBC is a run/stop cable with a USB-C plug on the handle side and a plug for the USB-C port of the camera on the camera side. It links a Tilta handle with a USB-C port — Advanced Side Handle (in our shop, Advanced Power Handle with Run/Stop) or the Nucleus Nano II motor — to the camera and carries a single command: start and stop recording with the REC button.

The Tilta RS-USBC-USBC is one variant of the USB-C run/stop cable range. The range always has USB-C on the handle side and differs only in the camera plug; this cable is made for the USB-C port of the camera.

The USB-C plug goes into the run/stop port of the Tilta handle — Advanced Side Handle (in our shop, Advanced Power Handle with Run/Stop) or Nucleus Nano II motor — and the other end into the camera: cameras with a USB-C run/stop port — Nikon Z6, Z7, Canon EOS R5, R6, C70, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, 6K, 6K Pro, PYXIS 6K. A press of the REC button on the handle starts the camera and the next press stops it, without reaching for the camera body. The cable carries no image, power or data, only this command; the choice comes down to the handle × camera port pair.

Tilta run/stop cables

A run/stop cable carries a single signal: start and stop recording. One end sits in a Tilta handle with a REC button or in the Nucleus focus system, the other in the camera port that accepts remote triggering — LANC, RED SYNC or CTRL, mini-USB on Canon DSLRs, Sony Multi, Hirose, Fischer or ARRI EXT. The cable is chosen by the handle × camera pair; this is one of the range.
