Tilta SW-T030 300mm Follow Focus Whip

A 300-mm-long flexible extension used to sharpen the blade from a distance from the follow-focus wheel. It fits into the auxiliary hole on the follow-focus unit and transmits rotation even at an angle without jamming.

A follow focus whip is a flexible shaft that extends the control wheel farther away from the camera. This allows the focus puller to stand away from the follow focus unit—which is useful in tight spaces, on a crane, or anywhere the focus puller might get in the cameraman’s way.

The extension slides into the auxiliary hole on the follow focus unit. The flexible section transmits rotation even when the control end is turned to the side or upward, without getting stuck. The 300 mm length is a common compromise between reach and rigidity.

The body is made of ABS plastic and stainless steel, in black. It can be used with both double-sided and single-sided Tilta cine follow focus units.
