Tilta Side Focus Handle Run/Stop Cable for Canon C Series

The Tilta RS-TA2-CNC is a run/stop cable for the Side Focus Handle: one end sits in the handle, the other in the camera port, and the REC button on the handle starts and stops recording. This variant is made for Canon Cinema EOS C series cameras with 2.5 mm jack remote control. The cable carries only the run/stop command, no power and no video.

The Tilta RS-TA2-CNC links the handle to the camera so that recording is started and stopped with a thumb from the handle, without reaching for the camera body. The handle is shared across the range; the cable is chosen by the camera port.

One end of the cable plugs into the Side Focus Handle (Micro USB connector), the other into the camera (2.5 mm jack — Canon Cinema EOS C series). From then on the REC button on the handle starts and stops recording, and the operator neither lets go of the grip nor hunts for the button on the camera body. The cable carries a single signal — run/stop; it transmits no power, video or data. For another camera only the cable changes, the handle stays.
