Tilta Magnetic Flat Head Screwdriver

The Tilta Magnetic Flat Head Screwdriver is the flat head screwdriver included with many Tilta cages — here as a replacement. The flat blade fits the slotted screws that Tilta cages and their accessories are mounted with, so you assemble the setup without any other tools. The Tilta Magnetic Flat Head Screwdriver (TA-SD-FH) is the replacement flat head screwdriver for Tilta cages — a light piece of metal shaped like the logo that holds onto the magnet in the cage and tightens slotted screws.

This flat head screwdriver comes in the box with many Tilta cages and is sold here on its own as a replacement for a lost piece. The flat blade fits the slotted screws that fix the cage to the camera body and mount the accessories — handles, rod holders, cable clamps. It is made of aluminium alloy and stainless steel and weighs practically nothing.

Holds onto the magnet in the cage

The tool itself is not magnetic. It is designed to attach to the magnet at the bottom of many Tilta cages — there it sits hidden yet within reach, so tightening a screw on set does not mean digging through the bag for tools.

The Tilta cage system

A Tilta cage is only the start: every series has parts designed for the camera body — top handles, side handles with a REC button, HDMI and USB-C cable clamps, battery plates, 15 mm rod holders, lens adapters and ARCA or NATO interfaces. The parts share 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins, NATO rails and cold shoes, so they combine across series. This part is one of them.
