Tilta Extension Bracket for Hydra Adjustable Support Post

The Tilta HDA-T16-EB extension bracket lengthens the Hydra Adjustable Support Post where the post's own range falls short, and the joint at its end turns the suction cup into the plane of a raked windscreen or a sunroof. The Tilta Extension Bracket is an extension part for the Hydra Adjustable Support Post — the brace for multi-camera shooting inside a vehicle that Tilta makes in 50 and 100 cm lengths. The bracket goes between the post and the suction cup and adds reach and angle, so the rig fits a car where the flat surface for the cup is not directly above the post.

Between the post and the suction cup

The bracket mounts on the top end of the Hydra Adjustable Support Post and the 4.5″ suction cup moves to its other end. The joint at the junction pivots and locks with a screw, so the cup sits square even on a raked windscreen or a domed sunroof — the post stays upright, only the contact patch moves to where the glass offers it. The rig therefore fits different vehicles without finding another spot for the whole brace.

1/4″-20 threads along the full length

The body carries a row of 1/4″-20 threads with locating holes, so further accessories bolt on without twisting — a monitor mount, an action camera, an articulating arm. The same threads join two or more brackets end to end: the build gets longer, or bends to an angle a single part cannot give. The bracket is machined from aluminium alloy and carries only what the post itself carries; it is meant for smooth driving on good roads, not off-road.
