The Tilta Air Windbreaker is a light jacket for people who spend the day outdoors beside a camera. It weighs 97 g, so it fits the side pocket of a photo backpack, and still holds off wind, reflects sun and sheds rain. The thin stretch fabric does not get in the way when you shoulder the camera or bend down to the tripod.

Three jackets in one

The Air Windbreaker doubles as a light raincoat, sun protection and a classic windbreaker. The fabric is thin and stretchy, so it does not overheat in direct sun yet still stops wind and light rain. On a shoot where the weather turns within half a day, it is the only layer you need to pack.

UPF 50+ and a water-repellent finish

The fabric carries a UPF 50+ reference protection factor and, according to the manufacturer, stops over 98% of ultraviolet radiation — after a full day in desert or mountain light you notice the difference. The water-repellent finish is fluoride-free, so water runs off the surface and the fabric dries quickly.

Rear ventilation

The hidden vents in the back are mesh-lined. They carry heat and moisture straight away from the body, so you are not soaked under the jacket even walking with a camera on your shoulder. The fine fibre also feels cool to the touch.

Drawstrings at cuffs and hem

The adjustable drawstrings tighten one-handed. The cuff wraps the wrist and shields the back of the hand from sun and wind, while the hem pulls in so nothing blows in under the jacket. A hood is part of the cut.
