Teradek TOF.1 Precision Infrared Laser Range Finder

Teradek TOF.1 is a compact infrared rangefinder for the Teradek RT wireless lens-control ecosystem. It continuously measures the distance between the subject and the camera’s focal plane at up to 80 ft / 25.4 m line of sight within a 3° field of view, refreshing the reading 60 times per second. Connect it to the MDR.X Lens Control Receiver with the same single 4-pin-to-4-pin Teradek RT motor cable used for RT motors; that cable provides both power and control. Distance data is shown on CTRL.5, CTRL.1 and CTRL.3 controllers and on compatible SmallHD monitors running PageOS 4 or later. TOF.1 can also drive responsive autofocus through the RT lens motor, while its smoothing algorithm helps avoid excessive motor jitter. The machined 125 g unit has two 1/4-20 mounting points and a NATO rail for the included detachable laser sight, which uses LR41 batteries.
