Teradek Smart-Knob - Wired Smart Controller

The Teradek Smart-Knob is a standalone wired lens controller designed for RED DSMC and DSMC2 cameras, providing precise control of focus, iris, shutter, and ISO. It works directly with Canon EF and Nikon AF lenses through their internal motors and can also control Teradek brushless motors when paired with a Teradek MDR receiver.

he Teradek Smart-Knob is an ergonomic wired smart controller designed to provide precise lens and camera control without requiring a wireless receiver. Designed for use with RED DSMC and DSMC2 cameras, the Smart-Knob can control focus and iris on compatible Canon EF and Nikon AF lenses using their internal electronic motors. It also provides access to RED camera functions such as shutter, ISO, and focus through convenient built-in hot keys positioned along the side of the controller.

Designed to deliver more precise and intuitive control than standard manual follow-focus systems, the Smart-Knob provides an ergonomic interface suitable for professional camera operation. When combined with a Teradek MDR, it can also be used to control Teradek brushless lens motors for highly accurate cinema lens control. The controller can be mounted to a clamp or articulating arm using its integrated 1/4"-20 mounting threads.
