Teradek MDR.X External Antenna Cap (11-1495) converts the internal antenna of a Teradek RT MDR.X receiver to an external RP-SMA solution. It lets you relocate the antenna outside the receiver body or attach a suitable antenna of your choice, for example on gimbal and drone rigs.

Antenna outside the MDR.X receiver body

The side cap converts the internal antenna to an external RP-SMA connection. It helps place the antenna more advantageously when the MDR.X is concealed in a compact rig or among elements that may affect reception.

For gimbals, drones and tight rigs

Included are a short UFL to female RP-SMA cable, 2.4 GHz RP-SMA antenna and 1.5 mm hex key. For greater distance, use a compatible SMA extension and suitable antenna.
