Using the Sennheiser Control Cockpit software, it is possible to change the directionality and sensitivity to ensure that the microphone output signal meets the user's high demands, change the switching speed between speakers, or manage the function of the signal LEDs. A great advantage is the possibility of changing the seating order during the event, to which the microphone dynamically adapts. Compared to other systems, the sound system does not require the installation of table microphones that would interfere with the presentable appearance of the meeting room and maintains discreet sound pickup. The SL Ceiling Mic is equipped with two digital Dante as well as one analogue audio output, e.g. for simultaneous conferencing and meeting recording.
