Vaxis STORM 800

Vaxis Storm 800 sends uncompressed Full HD 1080p60 with under 1 ms latency up to 260 m. NP-F powered transmitter and V-Lock receiver, 3G-SDI and HDMI, 20 channels, multicast and a flight case. Works with the Storm series.

Storm 800 is a compact, uncompressed wireless link for film, broadcast and live production. The transmitter takes the image over 3G-SDI or HDMI and passes it on via SDI loop, the receiver outputs it on two SDI and one HDMI. Under 1 ms of delay lets you pull focus from a wireless monitor as if it were wired.

Just like a cable

Under 1 ms of delay means a truly instant image. The focus puller works smoothly and the director sees the shot at the same moment as the camera.

Power to suit the rig

The transmitter takes an NP-F battery, the receiver a V-Lock battery. Both also accept 7–36 V via 2-pin LEMO, so they work with any battery or adapter.

No compression, no waiting

Storm 800 keeps the whole path uncompressed, so it loses no detail even with high-bitrate live streaming. The link connects quickly and stays stable.
