The SmallRig Foldable L-Shaped Mounting Plate for Sony Alpha 7 V/7R V/Alpha 7 IV/Alpha 7S III 3984 facilitates quick switching between horizontal and vertical shooting while maintaining access to the flip-out LCD screen. The Arca-Swiss side plate quickly folds down onto the bottom plate with a folding button for horizontal shooting and stores as a single piece of portable accessory, and the base plate can be extended for vertical shooting to allow access to cables. The L-bracket is secured with a 1/4"-20 screw and positioning pins at the bottom and features pads to prevent scratches and twisting, as well as a hinge arm at the battery door that adapts to the curve of the camera and increases comfort when holding. The base plate has several 1/4"-20 threaded holes for the Magic Arm3873 and Cold Shoe 2935 for a monitor, microphone, and other accessories during video production, a hole for a wrist strap, and a QD connector for quick attachment of a QD shoulder strap and wrist strap. A slotted screwdriver is also available for disassembly and tightening of the L-bracket.

Note:
1. When shooting vertically, the base plate can be extended to install the cable. The HDMI interface can be used normally, but the USB-C and Multi interfaces are only compatible with right-angle data cables.
2. The maximum load capacity in vertical shooting mode is 5 kg.
