The SmallRig 6786 suction cup support holds a magnetic phone on glass or any smooth surface in the car. A 74 mm silicone cup locks down with a two-stage knob, while the metal arm with two folding joints and 360° rotation puts the screen at the angle you need.

The SmallRig 6786 multifunctional suction cup support tackles the three things cheap car mounts usually get wrong: weak suction, a narrow range of adjustment, and a phone that slides off the head. The cup is 74 mm across and made of silicone, which conforms to microscopic gaps in the surface when pressed down and forms a sealed vacuum layer.

The silicone locking knob works in two stages. A light turn pre-locks the mount in place; a firmer turn raises the pressure and pulls the suction tight. You can match the force to the surface you are mounting on, and the mount is less likely to work loose while driving.

The metal arm carries two folding joints, so the phone reaches positions well off the axis of the cup. The head rotates a full 360° and holds a device with up to 18 N (4.0 lbf) of vertical force — enough for navigation, video and video calls. Folded, the mount measures just 79.2 × 74.4 × 37.3 mm.

The head is magnetic: it works with the iPhone 12 and later, with phones in a magnetic case, and with phones carrying a magnetic sticker or a metal ring. One sticker is included.
