The SmallRig 2236 half cage doubles as an Arca-Swiss L-bracket for the Sony A7 III and A7R III: switch from landscape to portrait in seconds, swap batteries without removing it, and mount a handle or arm on the 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16 and ARRI holes.

SmallRig Half Cage with Arca L-Bracket for Sony A7III A7RIII 2236 is an innovative product combining features of a cage and a L-Bracket, which meets the needs of hybrid shooters. Both the side plate and base plate is of Arca-Swiss standard allowing quick switch between horizontal and vertical orientation shooting. The base plate extends 20mm in height and fits the camera body perfectly, ensuring it is comfortable to hold for hand-held shooting. It features a quick release button around the battery door so the battery switch is unobstructed. The side plate can be extended to left by 24.5mm if you need more room for tethering or cable release. Attach SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp 2259 if you need to protect your HDMI cable and port. On the top are multiple 1/4’’-20 and 3/8’’-16 holes and Arri locating holes, so you can mount SmallRig Top Handle 2165 and SmallRig Ball Head Magic Arm 2115 to shoot videos. Designer: Tracy Joy.
