The SmallRig 5731 USB-C tethering cable links a camera to a laptop across 4.6 m and moves data at USB 3.1 speed. One connector is straight, the other angled so it does not strain the port; two silicone ties are included.

SmallRig USB-C Tethering Cable 5731 connects your camera to a computer over 4.6 m and transfers data at USB 3.1 speed. It is intended for tethered shooting in the studio and in controlled setups that require real-time preview and large file transfer. It works with common tethering software such as Pixel Cake or Capture One on Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon and Panasonic cameras (excluding models with restricted software).

One connector is straight and the other angled — the angled end does not strain the camera's USB-C port and reduces the risk of accidental disconnection and port damage during long tethered sessions. The included cable management plate has an integrated Arca-type base, so it mounts directly to an Arca tripod head, and cable routing grooves on all four sides let you run the cable as needed. Two silicone ties keep the cable and plate secured when not in use.
