Product description

The Sirui Sniper 33mm F1.2 is an autofocus lens for Sony E-mount cameras with an APS-C sensor. It roughly matches 50 mm on full frame, so it suits portraits, food and still life. Sniper 33 mm F1.2 for APS-C

A fast autofocus lens that on an APS-C sensor roughly matches 50 mm on full frame.

F1.2 aperture for dusk and soft backgrounds

The wide aperture lets more light reach the sensor, so at dusk you can stay at a lower ISO and a faster shutter speed. The shallow depth of field separates the subject from the blurred background.

Focus from 0.4 m

A minimum focus distance of 0.4 m for close-up details.

11 elements in 10 groups

One ED element and one high-refractive-index element keep the lens compact and control flare and ghosting.

360° focus ring

Smooth manual fine-tuning and a USB-C port for firmware updates.

Approx. 400 g

A compact 92.5 mm long body with a 58 mm filter thread.

Equivalent to 50 mm on full frame

The 33 mm focal length on an APS-C sensor roughly matches 50 mm on full frame. It suits portraits, food, still life and posed shots – almost any situation.

F1.2 and 11 aperture blades

Even wide open at F1.2 the subject stays sharp, while the background melts into a soft bokeh shaped by the 11-blade aperture. The aperture is set from F1.2 to F16.

Sirui Sniper 33mm F1.2 APS-C AF Lens, Sony E, White – F1.2 and 11 aperture blades

Fast and quiet STM autofocus

The STM motor focuses accurately, quickly and quietly. The lens supports the camera's Eye AF, which keeps the eyes sharp even with a moving subject, and minimal focus breathing makes it suitable for video too.

White version: ceramic coating

The barrel has a ceramic coating. Electronic contacts pass data to the camera, the USB-C port is for firmware updates and the focus ring turns through 360°. A petal-shaped lens hood is included.
