The microphone's design is based on the legendary SM7, which was originally designed for radio broadcasters, but quickly found its way into recording studios. The MV7X is designed especially for podcasts, radio, post-production and dubbing studios and other industries where the highest quality voice quality matters. Frequency characteristics tailored to voice capture support flawless audio recording results. The cardioid primarily captures the sound in front of the microphone while significantly reducing the capture of background noise behind the microphone.

Features
The microphone body houses a capsule with cardioid directional characteristics. The frequency response of the microphone is 50 Hz to 16 kHz with a maximum SPL of 94 dB and an impedance of 252 Ohm. The microphone can be easily connected to any recording equipment using the XLR connector. No power supply is required for the microphone, so you can record top quality audio immediately. The package includes a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter. Rugged all-metal construction minimizes vibration. Built-in pop filter suppresses sudden changes in sound pressure for vowels and syllables (typically "p", "b", "t", "r", syllables, etc.).
