SHAPE Paparazzi Riser

The SHAPE Paparazzi riser raises the camera a fixed 2 inches above the mount. The top surface has a 4-inch-long slot for a screw, so the camera can be moved forward and backward—or, by rotating the riser, left and right—to balance it.

The Paparazzi riser is a fundamental component of SHAPE Composite camera rigs. It raises the camera a fixed two inches above the shoulder mount or baseplate, creating space beneath the camera body for a battery, cables, or a follow focus.

The top surface features a 4" long slot for a clamping screw. Depending on whether you position the riser lengthwise or crosswise, the camera shifts forward and backward or left and right—this allows you to balance the setup or intentionally offset the camera to the side so your eye can reach the viewfinder.

The riser is CNC-machined from anodized aluminum. It features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on both the front and back, allowing you to attach additional accessories, such as a sliding rod block. Its size and weight make it ideal for small cameras and DSLRs.
