The limited edition MOMENTUM 4 Wireless headphones were created to mark Sennheiser's 80th anniversary. They combine a tribute to the history of the Sennheiser brand with modern street culture. Designed in collaboration with Bond Truluv, an internationally renowned German graffiti artist.

The Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless circumaural wireless headphones follow on from the excellent, highly successful MOMENTUM Wireless 3 model. The basic improvements include more sophisticated high-end sound, significantly longer battery life, a more responsive and effective ambient noise cancellation system, and, of course, a more comfortable fit.

Significant progress in sound quality has been achieved in particular through the use of a top-of-the-line, audiophile-tuned speaker with a 42 mm diameter diaphragm and more advanced Bluetooth signal transmission codecs, i.e., sound. In the previously used pair of high-quality American codecs, aptX and aptX LL, the latter has been replaced by aptX Adaptive. The basic SBC and AAC codecs are, of course, retained and are selected by the headphones automatically when necessary. The speaker utilizes knowledge gained from the design of the highest quality Sennheiser audiophile headphones and, together with the closed-back design of the headphones, is capable of providing the highest quality sound in its class, i.e., in the field of portable wireless Bluetooth (5.2) headphones, thus offering audio enthusiasts the possibility of perfect listening anywhere.  

The second significant advance is the unprecedented and unique extension of the operating time to 60 hours on a single charge with ambient noise cancellation turned on. Admittedly, this still does not allow you to fly around the globe with pleasant music on a single charge (the available flight time data is 94 hours), but you can still spend an exceptionally long time listening to audiophile sound. What's more, you can enjoy the silence created by the automatically adapting hybrid noise cancellation. The system is able to actively respond to changes in noise according to their source and thus more successfully eliminate a wider range of noises. The charging speed has been significantly increased, giving you up to 4 hours of listening time after just five minutes of charging, and up to six hours after ten minutes. Any USB-A output can be used for charging, and a USB-A to USB-C cable is included in the set. The headphones automatically respond to removal by pausing playback, and when you put them back on, listening is resumed so that the listener does not miss a note of their favorite recordings. If you put the headphones down for more than 15 minutes, they automatically turn off to save battery power. Listening time has been dramatically extended without increasing the weight of the headphones, as the new headphones are even lighter than the original ones.    

Ambient noise suppression is able to automatically respond to the level of disturbing sounds in the environment and also perfectly adapt to their frequency changes. This Hybrid Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation perfectly recognizes frequencies from the environment and eliminates them by precisely selecting frequencies in the opposite phase. The automatic response to changes in the environment and thus to differences in ambient sounds and noises is very sophisticated. When making a phone call, you can hear your own voice very clearly and without distortion. In addition, the headphones are able to automatically eliminate the influence of wind, so you will not perceive any disturbing noises or interference with playback.

The design of the headphones has been simplified; they can be folded flat and stored in the case supplied in the set. The slightly rotating attachment of the ear cups to the headband has resulted in a more precise fit of the headphones on the ears and head, and thus a more comfortable overall experience for the listener.The large ear cups are enclosed around the ear by generously padded ear cushions with a high-quality, comfortable, and durable surface. Of course, they can be easily replaced with new ones.

The popular option of customizing the sound and adjusting the listening experience with equalization has not only been retained, but the freely downloadable app has been enhanced to offer even more pleasant options for a higher-quality listening experience. Another ideal feature is that you can get the dedicated app by scanning the QR code on the headphone packaging, so there is no need to search and select anything. Equalization, ANC, or Transparency mode can be set and saved for several separate zones, and these differences are selected separately according to your movement between home, work, and other locations. The system allows for precise personalization of the headphone sound. Communication with voice assistants is also easy.
