The Sennheiser MEG 14-40-L-II is a 40cm gooseneck microphone designed to provide intelligible speech reproduction for lectures, conferences, meetings, and houses of worship. It features an XLR 5-pin connector, which carries power for its red light ring and audio signal to a preamp, and also 12 to 48V phantom power. The red light ring indicates when the speaker can take the floor. The microphone uses a KE 10 cardioid capsule mounted on a flexible gooseneck allowing precise placement in fron of the speaker.
