Featuring a rugged housing, the functionally and unobtrusively designed MAT 133 provides a solid ground for XLR3 gooseneck microphones.
The MAT 133-B is a table base for gooseneck microphones. The microphone plugs in over XLR-3F and the signal leaves over XLR-3M, so the base sits in the chain like any other microphone cable and needs no supply of its own — P24 to P48 phantom power is enough, drawing 1.9 mA. The 1,210 g weight is deliberate, not an oversight: it keeps the gooseneck where it was aimed even when the table is knocked.
