Powered through P48 phantom power from a broadcast desk or intercom system, NoiseGard operates without batteries, providing reliable performance in professional workflows.

The headset features a high-quality hypercardioid dynamic boom microphone that delivers clear broadcast-quality speech reproduction up to 18 kHz while effectively minimizing unwanted background noise. The microphone boom can be positioned on either the left or right side for flexible operation.

The closed-back, around-ear headphone design provides excellent passive isolation, while switchable ActiveGard hearing protection helps protect users from sudden high-level audio peaks with selectable attenuation settings of Off / 95 dB / 110 dB. The lightweight construction, extrasoft ear cushions, and comfortable headband system make the HMDC 27 suitable for long production days.

Featuring a modular design, the HMDC 27 supports a wide range of optional cables and boom arms, allowing it to adapt to different broadcast and communication setups. The headset does not include a connection cable, which must be purchased separately.
