Product description

Sennheiser HMD 26 S is a single-sided wired broadcast headset for television and radio production, including outdoor positions. Its closed supra-aural design, dynamic supercardioid microphone and switchable ActiveGard limiting help maintain intelligible communication in high-noise environments. A cable is not included and must be selected separately for the exact intercom or audio workflow.

Broadcast headset

One ear for programme, one for the room

HMD 26 S combines a closed supra-aural earcup with a single-sided design for quick communication in the studio, control room and on location. The flip-away earcup and switchable microphone boom allow left- or right-side use.

Clear speech and hearing protection

The dynamic supercardioid microphone uses a shock-mounted capsule to reduce structure-borne noise. ActiveGard switches between 95 and 110 dB SPL at 1 kHz; with ActiveGard off, the headset handles up to 128 dB SPL. Its modular cable concept requires a separately selected compatible cable for the system in use.
