One-handed control
The rotary knob sets volume steplessly; pressing it triggers Broadcast on the master headset and push-to-talk on a remote. Flip the mic boom up to mute and down to talk — a dedicated button mutes too.
The Saramonic WiTalk9 X-HRH is a remote headset in the helmet-ready configuration for the WiTalk9 X wireless full-duplex intercom. It adds one more person to an existing kit or replaces a headset that has worn out. On its own it is not a complete system.

Remote headset, helmet-ready. A single unit for the WiTalk9 X system, not a full kit.

The remote headset is an ordinary participant unit. Pressing the knob triggers push-to-talk; otherwise everyone talks full-duplex — all at once and without delay. Eight of them connect to one master headset without a base station.

The WiTalk9 X is the first intercom with a fully modular headband. Detach the headband components and the headset changes from single-ear to dual-ear or helmet-ready within ten seconds. Every headband part can be replaced on its own, so the headset can be repaired rather than binned.

A directional dual-microphone array and Saramonic’s first in-house AI chip remove up to 40 dB of background noise. Unlike conventional ENC, which only handles steady ambience, an algorithm trained on 700,000 samples separates the voice from sudden noise too. Even when several people speak at once, voices are not cut off. The system carries 100 Hz – 7 kHz at a 16 kHz sample rate.

The kit works straight out of the case and needs no base station — nine users connect to each other. Add the WiTalk BASE and the system grows to 64 users (16 per base, four bases can be linked), plus up to eight role-based groups so departments can talk independently.
The master headset runs over 9 hours with four remotes attached, and the remote headsets up to 12 hours. Each headset also comes with a spare battery, and the kit includes a ten-slot charging dock, so batteries get swapped on the move and charged between blocks.

IPx4 protection means rain and splashing water do the headset no harm, so an outdoor shoot need not stop for a shower.
The manufacturer lists no further accessories with a standalone headset. Ear cushions, temple pads and complete headbands are sold separately.
