RGBlink MSP 319

The RGBlink MSP 319 is a compact, high-performance SDI distribution amplifier designed to split one SDI signal into four identical, reclocked outputs. Supporting SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI up to 1080p, it delivers stable, broadcast-quality signal distribution in a miniature, easy-to-deploy form factor.

The MSP 319 from the RGBlink mini converter range feeds one SDI signal to four separately buffered outputs. A typical job is sending a camera feed to the gallery, to monitors and to a recorder at the same time.

One SDI input, four outputs

The side panel carries five BNC connectors: the SDI input and four outputs. The amplifier detects by itself whether SD-SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI is coming in and handles resolutions up to 1080p. Outputs 2 and 4 also carry ASI.

Reclocking and cable equalization

The signal is equalized at the input and reclocked at the outputs, so it survives longer cable runs: up to 400 m for SD, 200 m for HD and 120 m for 3G. Colour is handled in YUV 4:4:4 sampling at 10 and 12 bits.

Power from an adapter or over USB

The amplifier runs from a 12 V adapter on the DC input or over micro USB 5 V. The small housing fits easily into a portable rig or a fixed installation.
