RGBlink MSP 209M

The RGBlink MSP 209M is a Gigabit Ethernet fibre extender set for multi-mode fibre. It converts copper Ethernet from an RJ45 port to fibre with an SC connector and carries the network up to 550 m – between the control room and the hall, to the stage or to the next building. It detects the speed, duplex and cable type on its own.

The extender complies with IEEE 802.3ab and IEEE 802.3z. The network port runs at 10/100/1000 Mbps and sets the speed and full/half-duplex mode by itself, while the fibre link runs at 1000 Mbps. Auto MDI/MDIX makes the network cable type irrelevant, and up to six LEDs show the status of the fibre and copper ports. It is powered from 220 V AC or 12 V DC.
