The Hive Lighting Wasp 1000 Plasma Par Kit with 220V ballast is a powerful and versatile lighting solution that can be plugged into a standard wall socket. It has a full spectrum 98 CRI with daylight color temperature adjustable between 4500K and 6500K, making it perfect for high-speed production. The Wasp 1000 uses a single point source 1000W plasma bulb with a mirror-coated parabolic reflector to create a tight, powerful beam. It weighs only 21.5 lbs. in the head and comes with a 12-degree parabolic reflector, accessory mounting ring, 5-piece scrim set, 4-piece HDP lens set, four-leaf barndoor set, and a 32ft header cable and AC power supply. The kit is suitable for long-throw applications and can be used with diffusion, softboxes, bounce cards, and reflectors. The Wasp 1000 is flicker-free at any frame rate, shutter angle or combination, and has comparable output to 1,800 watt and 2,500 watt HMI lights or up to 10,000 watts of Tungsten.
