Peak Design Mobile GNAR Case - iPhone 18 Pro Max - Black

The Peak Design GNAR Case for iPhone 18 Pro Max in Black is a rugged case with serious drop, shock, water and dust protection — in a surprisingly slim, pocket-friendly profile. Built-in SlimLink™ magnetic + mechanical locking connects it to all Peak Design mounts and accessories, and it remains fully MagSafe compatible.

Built for riding, travel and active everyday use, GNAR adds extra padding, enhanced grip, raised camera and screen lips and a silicone USB-C port plug over the Everyday Case — with a rear wall just 2.4 mm thin. The body is 100% recycled polycarbonate with a soft Clarino™ microfiber liner and machined anodized aluminum buttons. Fair Trade Certified and guaranteed for life.

Maximum grip and protection

GNAR Case is built for confident handling during riding, travel, outdoor activity and everyday abuse. The pronounced grip texture holds securely even with gloves, extra padding absorbs drops and raised lips protect the cameras (1.2 mm) and screen (0.9 mm).

Improved retention on mounts

Updated construction protects your phone through hard daily use. The SlimLink™ lock (magnets + ceramic locking ring) keeps the case secure on Peak Design bike, moto and car mounts — through trail vibration and hits that purely magnetic systems cannot handle.

One-handed mounting

Mount the case with one hand — even in gloves. The magnets self-align the phone and the mechanical catch clicks in, no looking or screwing needed. And GNAR stays surprisingly slim: a 2.4 mm rear wall and only about 65 grams — no bulky tactical brick.

Navigation on the bars

With GNAR Case and a Peak Design mount your phone becomes handlebar navigation: it sits firm through vibration, the anodized aluminum buttons work with gloves on and the raised lip protects the screen. The improved back geometry keeps full MagSafe and Qi wireless charging compatibility — the case stays on while charging.

Sealed USB-C port

A detail rugged cases often miss: a silicone plug seals the USB-C port against water, dust and mud. Flip it open for cable charging — it stays tethered to the case so it cannot get lost. The grippy TPU edges also keep the phone raised when placed screen-down.
